How do I run the first synchronization?
Fetch data and distinguish a valid zero-record result from a failure or missing connection.

Before you start
- a connection with a successful access test
- a selected date range
- permission to start synchronization
Steps
- 1.Open connection details.
- 2.Review the last access test and source scope.
- 3.Start synchronization for a short, known period.
- 4.Follow operation history until a terminal state.
- 5.Compare record count and period with the provider dashboard.
Expected result
History shows a completed operation, period, record count and warnings. Zero records is a separate state, not success with data.
If something does not work
- No records: confirm period and provider account.
- Authorization failure: renew the connection.
- Partial import: inspect the operation ID and retry scope before repeating it.
