Turn Shopify orders into product and store contribution

Shopify supplies orders, discounts and returns. COGS is used only when present; missing product cost remains a visible gap.

The connector has not completed live certification for public self-service.

What changes after connecting

Find SKU without COGS

Filter sales whose product cost has not been confirmed.

See return impact

Compare revenue before and after returns in the selected period.

Translate discounts into contribution

See which discounts consume product margin.

Shopify → data → result

  1. 01

    Shopify store

The domain and Admin API token identify the store and permissions.

  2. 02

    Orders and returns

Initial sync imports the supported sales range.

  3. 03

    Products and costs

Line items are matched to SKU; missing COGS never becomes zero.

  4. 04

    Profitability

Revenue, discounts, returns and available costs form the result.

What Netrivo can calculate

Order contribution

Each order can be read after discounts, returns and available costs.

SKU profitability

Order lines join sales with product cost when available.

Cost completeness

Netrivo shows products without COGS instead of overstating contribution.

Why this connection is not available yet

The connector has not completed live certification for public self-service.

  1. 01The integration and required data scope are prepared.
  2. 02The real-account provider test is not complete yet.
  3. 03We therefore do not expose a form that cannot be completed.
  4. 04After a successful test, account verification, initial sync and coverage review will become available.

Connection requirements

  • A `*.myshopify.com` domain.
  • An Admin API access token with order and product read access.
  • An optional webhook secret before enabling webhooks.

Limitations

  • The public pilot is certified, but production synchronization must be enabled for the environment.
  • COGS depends on actual variant data or another cost source.
  • Complete payment, advertising and shipping costs require companion integrations.

Questions before connecting

How do I connect Shopify?

Enter the store domain and Admin API access token, run the connection test, then start the initial sync. The webhook secret is optional until webhooks are enabled.

Does Netrivo import historical data?

Initial sync imports the supported order range. The range is shown in connection state and depends on API permissions.

How are connection credentials protected?

Credentials are sent only to the backend and stored encrypted. Tokens and secrets are never placed in the browser, public logs or screenshots.

What should I do when the connection test fails?

Check the domain, token validity and Admin API scopes. After correcting them, reverify; a failed test is not stored as a data-bearing connection.

What is currently outside the Shopify scope?

The public pilot is certified, but production synchronization must be enabled for the environment.
