- Create a REST app with Transaction Search in PayPal Developer Dashboard and select the correct live or sandbox environment.
- An account with read permission for the provider scope.
- Companion cost sources when a complete result requires data outside this provider.
Limitations
- Public self-service live certification is incomplete.
- A payout is not order revenue and remains a separate event.
- Matching requires a shared transaction or order identifier.

How do I connect PayPal?
Create a REST app with Transaction Search in PayPal Developer Dashboard and select the correct live or sandbox environment.
Does Netrivo import historical data?
Transaction Search exposes history within the contract and account limits.
How are connection credentials protected?
Credentials are sent only to the backend and stored encrypted. Tokens and secrets are never placed in the browser, public logs or screenshots.
What should I do when the connection test fails?
Check the environment, Client ID, secret and Transaction Search permission.
What is currently outside the PayPal scope?
Public self-service live certification is incomplete.
